  The Northwesterner in Ballard was a great place to stay for a week in August. Luckily, our weather couldn't have been better the entire time! Ballard turned out to be the perfect neighborhood to stay. Lots of food and shops within walking distance, a great
  grocery store about three blocks away, and a great local farmers market on Sunday. The townhouse was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had virtually everything we needed to prepare meals. There were three things we noticed that could be improved. 1. The
  bed(s) in the smaller of the two rooms upstairs were too big for the room. 2. The gas grill on the deck was extremely close to the wall of the building. 3. The tv in the living area seemed to get a lot less channels than the one in the bedroom upstairs (or
  the instructions on how to use them weren't clear). Overall, our family had a wonderful stay and would reccomend it to anyone and would come back to stay there again.

  our first nite we came home to park our car in the garage and there was a car in the driveway right up to our garage. It was 11at nite as we just came from the rehearsal dinner so did not want to wake the neighbors up but was unable to use the garage like we were told we could with the rental. the party that parked there left around 8am. It was a suburu wagon and a blonde lady drove off in it. That was upsetting at that late of nite to try and find parking in the nite and we were very tire.

  The property exceeded our expectation. We really enjoyed all of the extras that were in the condo. The Kitchen was incrediably well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. The Parking was a challenge (as we had a Mini-Van)... but were told that before hand. We enjoyed Seattle -- even though it RAINED everyday -- and had a great time visiting family.

  This was a great place to stay for a family of six. The house was clean and nicely furnished. The location was good - in central Ballard and about 15-20 mins from Pike's Place with a bus route that goes almost directly there. The neighborhood was a mix of new condos for urban professionals and older houses and apartments. It seemed safe and mostly family oriented. There was a good mix of coffee shops, stores and restaurants within walking distance.

  The Northwesterner was a beautiful home with all the accouterments for a comfortable stay. We are a large family visiting Seattle for a family member's wedding. The Northwestern is centrally located in Ballard which made it easily walkable to shops, restaurants
  and The Sunday market.

  The townhouse looks just like the pictures. Very clean and enough room for 8 adults. Kitchen is well stocked. Walking distance to much food, shopping, etc and easy drive to downtown Seattle.

  I used to live two blocks from this house and love the Ballard area. This is a good place to stay with a family, friends, or even just on your own. Parking is really limited, though. And, the dishwasher was broken on this trip. Overall though, definitely recommend this place and anything else Sea 2 Sky has to offer.

  We enjoyed our stay at the Northwesterner. It is so close to the locks, and to downtown Ballard, that walking is mandatory. It is also very close to downtown Seattle, Fremont, and Lake Union. And best of all you are a short drive away from the Sunset watching place above the beach. A must see on a day you can see the sun. The property is clean, comfortable and very livable. Parking is a bit of a problem. Backing onto a street with cars parked on both sides takes some getting used to. Overall a great experience.

  The Northwesterner in Ballard, Seattle, Washington is clean, well stocked(they thought of everything), and charmingly decorated.
  It's in delightful neighborhood that oozes with Seattle charm. It's a mere few miles to downtown or pretty much any of main areas of interest.
  We liked having our privacy, unlike a hotel would offer. The price breakdown also makes this a better deal than your local inns. But the best part is it's more like a home than just a temporary room.
  Also in closing, I would like to add that the young man who helped us(Brian) was awesome. He really went the extra mile to make our stay really special.

  Pros:
  - perfect size for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids
  - very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated
  - very comfortable beds and pillows
  - gorgeous upstairs bathroom with shower and large tub (great for washing the kids in!)
  - three bathrooms made it easy to accomodate so many people
  - spacious, well-stocked kitchen
  - very convenient location to restaurants, grocery stores, etc.
  - short, easy drive into Seattle's attractions
  
  Cons:
  - two out of three nights, when we arrived back at the home, there was a car parked in front of the garage, and we had to find street parking
  - street parking was hard to find sometimes since we had more than one car

•
