In my travels, I have rented many apartments across the US. Without a doubt, this property was one of the GREATEST! The views from the apartment were picture postcard perfect. The apartment was immaculate and well appointed. Pike Place Market is a short two blocks away, and the local restaurants made our stay easy and relaxing. It was worth every penny to stay here, and we came home with all of our clothes clean, thanks to the convenience of a washer and dryer in the apartment!
We have a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Harbor Steps. The condo (#1803) that we stayed in was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We would highly recommend Sea To Sky Rentals and Harbor Steps to anyone visiting the Seattle area. Dan Graham & Verna Robertson - Maple Falls, WA
This was our 5th stay at the Harbor Steps through Sea to Sky Rentals. The location and view are perfect, that's why we keep coming back!! This time we took some food tours and really enjoyed them. Money well spent. Our favorite was the Seattle Bites Market Tour. If your time and budget permit, we highly recommend it. Thanks for everything Katrina and Michelle, we will be back next year.
We will definitely stay at the Harbor Steps on our next visit to Seattle.
We greatly enjoyed your beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped apartment with the stunning views over the harbor and Sound. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. Despite a week of nearly continuous rain, we adored Seattle! Amazing seafood, Wild Ginger (twice!), EMP, the ferry ride to and from Bainbridge Island, Chris Johnson reaching over 2000 yards in Qwest Field, Elliot Bay Bookstore and an IMAX version of "Avatar" (oh...and the variety of Starbucks) were highlights. One household item needing repair (broken before our arrival): in the bathroom of the master bedroom, the faucet handle was broken and could not give hot water. We managed...but obviously, this needs repair. Many thanks again!
We had a wonderful time staying in Harbor Steps. We had a corner apt so we had a spectacular view. The apt was clean and the staff was there for us at anytime of the day and night when we had questions. We had one person in a wheel chair and the door ways were plenty wide. The location of Harbor Steps is accessable to so many places that we walked the whole time we were there,to the baseball stadium, musium, coffee shops,Pikes Market & restraunts. I highly recommend staying there.
The view from our room was looking out of the sound and it was breath taking. And it is an easy walk to the water front and Pikes Place market. Lots of restrauants within walking distance.
Wonderful apartment in terrific location. Everywhere within walking distance, marvellous views from the windows and balcony. Could not have been better if I had designed it myself!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The view and the location were wonderful and the master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The blinds worked but they could use a bit of maintenance. Also the kitchen could use a few more/larger pots and pans for cooking.
We loved the apartment! It had a fantastic view and was close to the Market, downtown, and the water. We took the bus to the zoo and space needle and found the pubic transportation to be great. The pool was cold and in another building but we were too busy to miss this.
This is our 4th stay at the Harbor Steps through Sea to Sky Rentals. We absolutely love Seattle and staying at the Harbor Steps, we cant' wait to come back for trip number five. Centrally located with views to die for. You can take day trips to anywhere in the state from here. So much to see and do, consider taking the Haunted Market Tour, fascinating!!! Enjoy this city, there is so much to see and tons of history.
Spectacular View. All the comforts of home. Great for children.
We love staying at the Harbor Steps. The location and views are outstanding and the units are very comfortable. We will definitely return to the Harbor Steps.
The ONLY thing I was a little disappointed with was the size of the living area. The pictures made it appear to be much larger than it turned out to be, so it was a little tighter than we anticipated. But we would stay there again, as the view and location can't be beat... maybe just a different unit!
Problems with windo blinds was attended to promptly. Two things I "wished" for were place mats for the dining room table and a pair of binoculars.
I would recommend this place to everyone. The views every morning and evening were amazingly beautiful. We were within walking distance to at least 30 restaurants. It was so nice to walk out the front door and be 2 blocks from Pike st market for all our fresh fruit, coffee, seafood, and hanging out. Wonderful place...
The convenience of the Complex is unbeatable. We loved the vibrancy of being downtown and the view was awesome! We live in a high-rise a couple of miles east of downtown, but there's something about the sounds of the ferries and the sight of water. The only glitch was the lack of central ac on those two warm days that we experienced during our stay.
Outstanding location and beautiful views! Very helpful staff. Only suggestion - sharpen the knives and get a decent saute pan for those of us who like to cook.
I was in unit 1620 SW. Lake Forest only has one R.
This condo was in a fabulous location with an incredible view. 4th of July fireworks right outside our wall of glass overlooking Elliot Bay. No car was needed until we traveled to Rainier and the wineries. "The mountain was out" for most of our trip - we could see it from our balcony! Not only were we in a "free fare" zone but the transit system was a breeze to master, and everyone was unbelievably helpful with directions and recommendations, although, we should have listened to one in particular - Stay away from Flying Fish Restaurant. We are a traveling group which takes on a name for our trips...The condo became the home of "the Seattle Sisters" for 10 terrific days! We'll be back!
Harbor Steps is a great location. This is a pleasant apartment with a great view. Well managed.
A most enjoyable city with plenty to experience and we even saw the sun! The history of Seattle was most interesting and we especially enjoyed amongst other thingsthe 'Underground tour' Pikes Market and our visit to Mt.Rainier where we were lucky enough to see lots of snow and a bear. The islands too are well worth a visit. Yes I would recommend a trip to Seattle to my friends.
Harbor Steps is ideally located near Pike's Market, Art Museum, Aquarium, ferry stop, and all public transportation. The corner unit 1803 offers spectacular views of both the sound and downtown Seattle. Though small, the unit is well designed and outfitted with most everything a visit would need while enjoying all that Seattle area has to offer.
We thought the furniture should be rearranged so the couch faces out towards the window with the two chairs on the side to take advantage of the beatiful views. Also the there should be a pad between the twin beds when they're made up as a king so the split in the middle is covered.
We will definitely use you again when we need extra room for our out of town guests.
Located in the heart of downtown Seattle. Walking distance to many places. Great view from 13th floor facing to Puget Sounds.
We did not have adequate directions to the property. The exit that was listed on the directions was under construction, and we were forced to go down 2 exits before getting off i-5. The directions to the parking garage were also not very good. However the location was wonderful, we spent hours every day at Pike place market. Watching the ferry's come in night and day was wonderful too!!
Harbor Steps #1803 was spotlessly clean, perfectly situated and reasonably priced for two couples. Views are glorious. Chinese food from Urban Chinese was delivered right to #1803's door our first night. The only problem - and it was a big one - was that Seattle was experiencing record heat; the small noisy AC unit could not keep up with the searing afternoon sun and 93 degrees. With the thing chugging all day and the blinds drawn obscuring the view - blocking the best thing about the condo - it still hit 87 in the living room by 5 pm. Fans in the bedroom helped only a little. In fairness, everyone in Seattle was miserable. Would like the experience during tamer weather.
Stayed in Harbor Steps #1803 for several days, and found it to be a comfortable, well located launching point for all our activities around town. Enough room for the four of us, and with a beautiful view of the bay and ferries. A little noisy, but that's city living. Altogether a great stay!
We loved being able to walk to the market, aquarium, baseball field, etc. And the view was amazing!
The only problem we had was getting the keysa to work. The staff at 11:30 at night tried to get us in too---so it wasn't just our error. It took almost 45 min to get the door finally open. The staff was helpful, but the person called to fix the problem was rather annoyed that he had to come in---not our fault!Rico, at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. A really good employee. Alos the young man on the desk the night we could't get in was very helpful and felt bad about the situation.Beautiful view and greart location. Thanks ,Nick
The apartment is in a great location and close to the market, Pioneer Square, and shopping.
Unit was clean and efficient. We could have used stronger or more lighting. Unit would be cozier with a few paintings on the walls. The people who staff the concierge desk were adequate but not overly friendly. I know they're not employed by Sea to Sky so you might not be able to influence their greeting style but they did not live up to the friendliness and helpfulness standard we found throughout Seattle. They helped but not with a great deal of joy. Sea to Sky staff were very friendly and helpful, in fact, could not have been nicer. Thanks to them for their help.
This is a very nice property in a great location, a block or so from Pike's Market. The only reservation I would have is the traffic noise from the freeway a block away. Virtually impossible to leave the patio or balcony doors open. I suppose everything has its price.
We had a broken washing machine and the toilet flooded! Both times they were fixed quickly and effectively but it was really annoying too.
Needs better airconditioning and better beds. Also needs draperies to cut out the noise from outside and lights at night. We are returning this year and staying instead at the Residence Inn in a two bedroom unit.
